It's a relief to finally make it to September. We are six months from when all heck broke loose here, first with the tornado at the start of March and then the coronavirus right on its heels.
A new month means "rebooting" a couple of things.
First, I'm getting back into the daily writing of the kind of morning pages (written on a computer and not three pages a day) plus trying to dabble in a little awful fiction each day to prep for NaNoWriMo.
Second, I pulled out an old phone to replace my iPod and I have a cheap dock on the way so I can go back to having a docked device for podcast listening. I am not a big fan of using the Google Nest Mini as a bluetooth speaker. It works fine enough but I sometimes lose connection or forget that I am paired to the speaker when I try to use my iPad somewhere else in the house.
In other news, I am down almost to the end of my digitizing project. I have just a few videotapes left to review and decide if there is anything worth copying off of them and then I will be done. It's taken just over two months to get to this point and as nice it has been to be able to share all of the memories in our group, I'll be sort of glad when it is over and when I can get these videotapes out of here!
